Over 125 years ago, the McManamy clan left Ireland to find opportunity in the United States of America. Eventually, they would enrich their new homeland in myriad ways, across six generations, contributing to dozens of fields and communities from coast-to-coast.

Today, we each know only a fraction of our broader family story, but incredibly, our ranks have included doctors, nurses, lawyers, teachers, pilots, engineers, diplomats, scientists, social workers, physical therapists, journalists, carpenters, artists, musicians, analysts, accountants, mountain guides, horse breeders, and even rodeo queens!

McManamy branches now stretch across at least 18 states and bear the names Stern, Kenlon, Seelaus, Moffatt, McCloskey, Zubrovich, Haugh, Mathissen, Parker, Van Benthuysen, Buehlmeier, Kite, Seubert, Buswell, and more…

In 2024, at long last, these many branches will finally have the chance to meet, share stories, swap contact info and build out our family tree, for the benefit not just of this generation, but for future generations, as well.
